How to Find Us in the Car

We operate out of Dansville Airport (DSV). Dansville Airport is located in the picturesque town of Dansville NY.

By Ground Transportion

By automobile Dansville is about a 50 minute drive south from Rochester, NY. Take Route I-390 south to the Dansville Exits (there are two). The Northern Dansville Exit of I-390 is Exit (#5). It is directly at the airport and in fact the main Dansville Airport Hanger is visible from I-390. Turn east after exiting I-390, and at Rt. 36 turn right (Arby's and Burger King Directly in front of you as you make the turn onto Rt.36). After driving about 500 ft, you'll see a McDonald's, turn directly before the resturant (Maple Street) and you'll see the Dansville airport on your left. Keep driving, along the south end of the airport on Maple Street and make the first left, just as you reach the end of the airport fence (across from the car dealer). This is Forbes Street. The hangar along the east side of the airport is ours (generally there are several...or many...depending on the time of year....yellow school buses parked outside the airport fence very near our hanger). Please feel free to come visit. We are always happy to show interested individuals the aircraft, the operation and discuss membership. If the hanger door is open, few (or no) people around and a southerly breeze, we are likely operating from the north side of the airport. Check with the individuals at the Dansville Airport Hanger across the field, they can give you directions on how to reach the other end of the airport by ground tranportation.
