I am not sure how much Jim passed along to you about how I am doing. I have Stage IV Lung cancer. While I am not without options there is not much available to be optimistic about. The only way that I know what's going on with and at the club is through the website and phone calls. There has been very little on the site and no calls. So could we figgure out how to use the site or the phone so that I might be less isolated.

Hope to attending the visitation for at least a little while as health permits. I have been talking to Isaiah. Are others reaching out to the Juniors?

Very sad!! I knew Jim. He gave me my first taste of cross country flight and almost my first experience of a land out. It was exciting for me, and we talked about it at IVSM-12. He admitted that it was way too exciting for him too, which was news to me.

I was hoping that some day in the not too distant future I could get some winch training from him. Sadly that won't happen now. I will miss him.

His family and colleagues are in my thoughts.

Great Report Mark! Lots of good "nuggets" of guidance to keep in the XC toolkit. This is especially appreciated by a fledgling XCguy like myself. Good Luck in Region 3 Contest!!!
